Luckily there is a Monster High Messenger Bag available online that is just what they’re looking for. It is the only Monster High bag available right now that can fit a binder and a couple of textbooks. This bag is made in a durable gray canvas fabric and has the words “Drop Dead Gorgeous” embroidered on it in pink thread. It also has a few star shaped patches and a patch of the MH girly skull logo with the pink bow. The zipper pull on the outside flap pocket is in the shape of the MH logo.
So can it fit all your stuff? I compared the dimensions to other top rated messenger bags on Amazon, and this appears to be a standard size for a messenger bag. I’m sure this can fit a reasonable load of school stuff, but if you’re looking to replace your multiple compartment camping backpack, then this may not do the trick. If you get it and find it can’t hold all the books you need, perhaps you can use it in addition to a small backpack to split up the load, and almost like a large purse. It could also hold your gym clothes or fit your pajamas and a couple of Monster High Plush Dolls for an overnight trip.
As you know, the show is not even a year old and Mattel probably still has a lot of merchandise in the works. Hopefully they’ll come out with a big backpack for another book bag option, but for now this and the Transforming Bag are the only official Monster High bags I am aware of. The Transforming Bag can be worn as a backpack but it’s only for light duty use. If you’re looking for a low cost solution, try doing some DIY stuff on your backpack.
