I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, but Invicta men’s watches are popular not just because they’re awesome. These watches are solid timepieces that will make any owner proud. The weight of these watches, at least the chronograph versions are generally pretty hefty. You’ll find your watch weighs in at around a pound or more. That’s a good chunk of stainless steel.
Another thing I like about the Invicta mens watch is that they are very reasonably priced for the quality and bling you get from each piece. Like I mentioned before, the Invicta 3914 stainless steel mens racing sport chronograph watch harkens back to the Omega Speedmaster, but at a fraction of the price. Now an Omega is something to be sought and I’d love to own one when I can afford it. But I can’t afford it. The Invicta men’s racing sport chronograph watches can be had for a few hundred dollars or maybe less if you find a good deal.
Seriously, what’s not to love about that. Now as I mentioned, the Invicta 3914 stainless steel mens racing sport chronograph watch has been discontinued. But you can get pretty much the exact same thing in the Invicta men’s signature collection ocean ghost racing sport chronograph watch 7230. This watch looks practically identical to the Invicta 3914, ‘cept you get a brand spanking new one in a nice shiny box with warranty and you know you’re the only owner. That’s how I like to buy my watches. Brand new out of the box with no one else having put their grubby paws on them.
The Invicta ocean ghost racing sport has a nice bright round face of 47 millimiters which is almost 2 inches. The case thickness is a nice 12 milimeters or about a half an inch. When you’re wearing this watch you feel it.
The watch has a very nice two tone color to it and is black ion plated stainless steel. For those who care to know, ion plating is a way of depositing hard coatings onto another layer, in this case the steel. It leaves a very nice finish that you can appreciate when looking at it up close. In this case the black is a super black matte finish which is smooth to the touch.
A couple of other features I really like about the Invicta men’s signature collection ocean ghost racing sport chronograph watch 7230 is that it is water resistant to 330 feet, which while we’re talking in milimeters is 100 meters :O) It is also has a softly luminiscent face which is a bonus in the dark or when you’re out clubbing or hanging at the pub with friends.
So don’t be dismayed if you think you’ve missed out on the Invicta 3914 stainless steel mens racing sport chronograph watch. Grab yourself the Invicta men’s signature collection ocean ghost racing sport chronograph watch 7230 instead. I think you’ll like it better. If only because it’s new!
